“Something In The Air” – This is my tribute to Andy “Thunderclap” Newman who died on this day, 6 years ago. He plays the piano solo, which I recorded at one of our (Thunderclap Newman Band) rehearsals around 2008. This song made a huge impact when it was released in July 1969. I am also remembering John ‘Speedy’ Keen who wrote the song and guitarist Jimmy McCulloch. They were a remarkable trio with a true classic. RIP Andy, Speedy and Jimmy.
