I attempted to record this month’s Song In Nature by one of the famous landmarks of Vienna – the Giant Ferris Wheel at the entrance of the Prater amusement park. However, the cold, the light rain and the traffic noise made me abandon the project. Initially I wanted to shoot this video by the Danube near Schloss Aschach where I played but there was no time for that. So I decided to show a few images of my Austrian trip to my song “Jolly Farmhand”. This song is dedicated to my friend Fritz E. on whose farm I helped out many years ago and who died last year. It was a magical time in a beautiful setting in the Austrian Alps, a time I shall never forget. I guess that’s when my love for yodelling started. The church in the video is in Salzburg and the plaque explains that in this church the parents of W.A. Mozart were married.
