I recorded this song in July 1990, just days after David Buckley and I formed East Meets West, an acoustic duo.  I was concerned about our environment then as I am now and took my cue from an unlikely source: John Mayall’s fantastic 1970 album “USA Union”. On the album is a song called Nature’s Disappearing, and I remember what an impact that song and its lyrics had on me, back in the early 70s.
