Burning sensation! Recording has begun on my third EP ‘LOVE’, the final part part of my project called “Faith, Hope. Love”. I was assisted by Cyril Manuel on double bass and electric bass and Paul Townsend on drums; two great musicians. Over the next few weeks I shall work on the 4 songs, bringing in other musicians who will add their instruments and musical touch to the recording. On one of my songs, with the alluring title ‘Come And Smell The Hay’, Andy ‘Thunderclap’ Newman is playing the piano. Although Andy passed on in 2016, I was lucky enough to record him in 1999 on my piano at my flat in London. This song is a tribute to him.
